Privately owned and operated since 1995, we are located in Cedar Falls, Iowa, at the heart of the Cedar Valley. Our laboratory is climate controlled year round. Position Tasks:

As a calibration technician with Quad State Gauging & Measurement, Inc, you will be responsible for calibrating both mechanical and electronic gauges and equipment to nationally recognized standards. There is minimal domestic work-day travel with this position. This position is a full-time, permanent position with standard work hours of 7:00am-4:30pm.

Qualifications:

A strong candidate to join our team needs to have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. A candidate should also enjoy being challenged and solving problems. As part of our team environment, each team member is responsible for being dependable and having an excellent work ethic. A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required with this position.

Ideal candidates should also possess the following:

• An Associate Degree in Electronics, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Technology or related field
• Experience with varies measuring instruments.   
• Organization and a high attention to detail
• Knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Extensive knowledge of mathematics including trigonometry
